  1. Are there students working on patients at Campus Dental Centre?

    No, we are a fully licensed practice with a highly qualified staff.
  2. Do you only take students as clients?

    No, everyone is welcome, in fact our client base includes students, faculty as well as the general public.
  3. Are your fees lower than other offices?

    Our fees are in accordance with the B.C. Dental Fee Guide, and are comparable to most dental offices.
  4. If I have insurance coverage, do I have to pay for anything?

    This depends on your plan and the coverage that it provides. Insurances often use their discretion when paying for certain treatments. Any amounts remaining after your insurance plan has paid are your responsibility. If you have more than one insurance plan, there is no guarantee that the full amount of your treatment will be covered. Please see the policy section for further information.
  5. If I am an international or exchange student, do I have coverage through the University?

    International and exchange students do not have coverage through the University, unless it has been paid for with tuition fees. Check with the UVSS Information Booth, located in the Student Union Building, for more information.
  6. I’m a UVic student, how much does a check-up and cleaning costs?

    A typical first visit costs $225-$250 and includes the examination, x-rays, tartar removal, polishing and fluoride. Depending on your coverage, your portion will range from $75-$85. Estimates are available for additional treatments.
  7. How do I make an appointment?
